The hotel room was clean enough but so small and quite dark. We were only staying for one night. If I was staying in Paris for longer I don't think I would choose this hotel. The breakfast was quite limited with things like tuna and salad on offer.

I believe you pay for what you get. It’s a 3 star hotel and the price for a family room reflects this. We booked a family room via Booking.com and paid £850 for 4 nights. When booking we were not sure if our young children would be coming, but booked and paid for a family room just in case. Our children did end up coming, but I didn’t expect this to be an issue as we booked (and paid for) a room with a sofa bed. When we arrived, we were informed that there would be an extra charge of €400 for our children to use the sofa bed already in the room. Sadly this is not advertised anywhere. As the booking is non-cancelable you have a choice of paying the additional 50% charge or finding somewhere else and losing your money. Not a great choice and you feel like you are being held to ransom. If the surcharge was completely transparent then fine, but it does seem like an underhand way to act. When booking.com were advised they confirmed the manager would address my concerns when we checked out. Unfortunately the manager couldn’t find the time to speak with me, my emails are unanswered and my credit card has a €400 charge for the use of a pillow and linen.

Very good hotel let down by one receptionist.

Good hotel great location but severely let down by one very poor receptionist. The receptionist Noelia when asked to print a one page document said it would take about 5 minutes to receive an e mail to print . Unusual but no problem. After waiting for about 10 minutes when asked again if the e mail had arrived she then pointed out that the hotel could not receive e mails and in any case could not print the document in question. When asked by my wife politely about why they were unable to print a document given that in almost all hotels in the world this is a quite standard request the receptionist was incredibly rude, telling us that we were heartless, rude and demanding. After disappearing to stretch in the back office she then returned with an amazingly bad attitude to and quite un provoked launched back in to it asking my wife “is this always the way you approach your problems?You must be a very poor manager in your life. You must allow more time to solve your affairs! She then told us we would have to go outside (in the pouring rain at night) and look for somewhere else to print (she had no idea where). When asked her name so as to bring her attitude up with the management she lied about her name saying it was Nadia, presumably to avoid censure. We have travelled extensively and never had such treatment anywhere. The rest of the 9 day stay was really uncomfortable with this one receptionist pointedly ignoring us with a huff. Perhaps a change of career away from customer care would be appropriate for Noelia. The other staff were polite and professional.

The hotel was great! It is close to the metro, in a very nice street located with many local bakeries, the staff gives you al the right information and helps you with any questions you have. This review might sounds fake generated, but really this is a great hotel!! Me and my friend whould definitely stay here again in the future!

We chose a privilege room and we were very happy with the space and everything in the room. Everything was spotlessly clean. We didn't have breakfast included but the tea and coffee making facilities downstairs were brilliant. The only small thing that slightly bothered us was how loud the bedroom doors bang when closing. The room next to us were in and out very early and did not hold the door to let it close gently so we were just unfortunate to be next door to inconsiderate people.
